Mrs. Carroll teaches 5th grade Orchestra at Liberty, 7th and 8th grade Orchestra at BUGC. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Olivet Nazarene University and her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. Aside from teaching private cello lessons, Mrs. Carroll plays the cello at her church and in the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra.

Mrs. Chaparro is the director of the BESD 5th through 8th grade Choral Department and General Music teacher for 4th, 5th and 6th grade at Liberty Intermediate. I have been teaching music for the past 11 years. I am a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and started my teaching career in New Lenox Illinois. I spend a lot of my free time acting in or directing music for shows presented by the Kankakee Valley Theatre Association.

Maggie Racine is the director of 5th-8th grade band in BESD#53. Liberty band students will have daily whole group lessons as well as the small group lessons throughout the week. Ms. Racine plans to continue to build the band program in B#53 by pushing students to learn and grow through a supportive band environment.
