Smile Illinois, the mobile dentist, is coming to LeVasseur on September 10th and 11th! Illinois requires that all students entering Kindergarten and Second grade have a dental exam completed. If your child still needs a dental exam, this is an opportunity to get it taken care of while they are at school! Information about the program and registration forms have been sent home, so please check your child's backpack. Please return all registration forms by 9/8/25.

Parent and Guardians-
We will hold our in-person residency verification event at Liberty Intermediate School on August 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (New Families or those who still need to register are also welcome to attend during these hours.)
Families will be required to bring documentation from both Category One and Category Two to verify residency. For further information on the documents that will be accepted, please see the attached flyers.
If you are unable to attend the August residency date, you must call to schedule an appointment with either your child’s building secretary or the District Registrar. These appointments must take place between August 7 and August 15.
Please note:
👉 If residency is not verified by August 15, your student will not have access to their class schedule.

Our Kindergarten Readiness Night offers you and your child the opportunity to meet the district's kindergarten team and the building principals. In addition to a brief screening to assess the best fit for your incoming kindergartener, there will be a short presentation for parents and students about what to expect, along with valuable take-home information to help prepare your child during the summer. We look forward to meeting you and your new kindergartener!
