7th & 8th grade Spanish students at BUGC participated in their own Tomatina by throwing red paper "tomatoes" at each other. La Tomatina is a tomato-throwing festival that occurs every year on the last Wednesday in August in Buñol, Spain. After the fight, students unfolded their tomatoes to reveal vocabulary words and worked together to match them to their meaning.
