February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. One in three teens in the US is a victim of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse from a dating partner. These violent relationships have serious consequences for victims – putting them at higher risk for substance abuse, eating disorders, risky sexual behavior, suicide and adult re-victimization. Clove Alliance is excited to offer education and awareness opportunities about Teen Dating Violence for students and educators.
Teen Dating Violence Webinar for Educators
Two options: Tuesday, February 7th from 5:00-6:00 PM or Wednesday, February 22nd from 12:00-1:00 PM.
CPDUs/CEUs will be provided to participants. To register for either FREE training, please use the links on the attached flier or visit www.clovealliance.org/events. This training fulfills ISBE’s Teen Dating Violence training requirement (105 ILCS 110/3.10). To schedule a training for your entire staff or a larger group (over 8 individuals), please email prevention@clovealliance.org.
